GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. General Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: the “Terms”) apply to the purchase and use of digital products available in the BluSyntax online store.
By using the online store or placing an order, the Customer accepts these Terms.
The language of the contract is Hungarian or English, depending on the language selected by the Customer in the online store. In the event of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version shall prevail, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer resides.

3. Product Available for Purchase
The BluSyntax Budget Planner constitutes digital content supplied without a tangible medium and includes:
-
a customisable Google Sheets-based financial planning template;
-
short user guides in Hungarian and English;
-
any additional digital content and features specified on the product page.
No physical product or parcel is shipped.
Using the product requires an internet connection, a free Google account, and an up-to-date browser compatible with Google Sheets.
Google Sheets is provided by Google. The Service Provider is liable for the availability of Google’s services and any changes made by Google only to the extent required by applicable law.
4. Intended Purpose of the Product
The BluSyntax Budget Planner is a tool designed to support personal financial planning and record-keeping.
The reports, calculations, and information displayed in the product do not constitute financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
The Customer is solely responsible for their financial decisions, the accuracy of the information entered, and any actions taken based on the planner.
5. Ordering Process
After selecting the product, the Customer adds it to the cart and provides the information required to fulfil the order and issue the invoice at checkout.
Before finalising the order, the Customer may review and correct the information provided, the selected product, and the total amount payable.
By submitting an order that entails an obligation to pay, the Customer makes an offer to purchase the product. The contract is concluded when the electronic order confirmation sent by the Service Provider is received by the Customer.
If the Customer does not receive an order confirmation within 48 hours, the Customer is no longer bound by the offer. In such a case, the Customer should check their spam or junk folder and then contact the Service Provider.
The contract is concluded electronically. The Service Provider does not separately file it as a paper-based contract. The Customer receives the order details, confirmation, and electronic invoice by email. The relevant data is also retained in Shopify’s systems for the period required by law.
The Service Provider has not submitted to the provisions of any specific code of conduct.
6. Prices and Payment
The purchase price is displayed on the product page and at checkout in the applicable currency. The final amount payable by the Customer is shown before the order is confirmed.
No delivery or shipping fee is charged for digital products.
The available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment card transactions and other electronic payments are processed by Shopify Payments and the payment service providers specified at checkout.
The Service Provider does not receive or store the Customer’s full payment card details.
7. Electronic Invoice
The Service Provider issues an electronic invoice for the purchase based on the billing information provided by the Customer.
The invoice is delivered electronically to the Customer through the Számlázz.hu system. By accepting these Terms and placing the order, the Customer agrees to the issue of an electronic invoice and its delivery by email.
The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the billing information provided.
8. Performance of the Digital Content Contract
Following successful payment, the Customer receives access to the digital product on the order confirmation page and by email.
Performance begins when the access and download links become available to the Customer.
The access links are currently subject to a limit of up to five accesses or downloads. If the access limit is reached for technical reasons or by mistake, the Customer may request assistance by emailing hello@blusyntax.com and providing the order number.
If the access email is not received or a link does not work, the Customer must notify the Service Provider. The Service Provider will attempt to restore access within a reasonable period.
9. Licence and Copyright
The product and all of its content, structural, graphical, and textual elements are protected by copyright.
The purchase grants the Customer a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to use the product.
The Customer may:
-
create their own Google Sheets copy;
-
modify the data, categories, and settings in their own copy for personal purposes;
-
use the planner through their own Google account on multiple devices belonging to them.
The Customer may not:
-
resell the template, any copy of it, or the accompanying user guides;
-
make them publicly available or accessible to third parties;
-
share, transfer, lend, or distribute the product;
-
present the product as their own;
-
use the whole or a substantial part of the product as the basis of another commercial product.
Purchasing the product does not transfer any copyright or ownership rights to the Customer.
10. Updates
The Service Provider may notify the Customer at the email address provided about updates necessary to maintain the conformity and proper operation of the product.
The Customer’s own Google Sheets copy is not updated automatically. When an update is released, the Customer may need to open the updated template and create a new personal copy.
The Service Provider is not required to provide new features or additional content indefinitely. This provision does not affect any rights granted to consumers under mandatory applicable law.
11. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
As a general rule, Customers qualifying as consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason.
In the case of digital content supplied without a tangible medium, the Customer may lose the right of withdrawal if:

performance begins before the expiry of the 14-day withdrawal period with the Customer’s express prior consent;
-
the Customer expressly acknowledges that they will lose their right of withdrawal once performance begins; and
-
the Service Provider provides the required confirmation to the Customer on a durable medium.
Detailed conditions are set out in the online store’s Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available to the Customer in connection with a lack of conformity, statutory warranty, or defective digital content.
12. Lack of Conformity of Digital Content
The Service Provider is responsible for ensuring that the digital content complies, at the time of performance, with the requirements specified in the contract, the product description, and applicable law.
A lack of conformity may include, in particular, where:
-
an access link does not work;
-
a file cannot be opened;
-
a material technical defect prevents the Google Sheets template from being used as intended;
-
the product materially differs from the characteristics stated on the product page.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may first request that the digital content be brought into conformity with the contract.
If bringing the digital content into conformity is impossible, would impose disproportionate costs, is not completed within a reasonable period, or other circumstances specified by applicable law apply, the Customer may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract.
A defect may be reported by emailing hello@blusyntax.com and providing the order number and a description of the problem experienced.
13. Responsibilities of the Customer
The Customer is responsible for:
-
keeping their Google account login credentials secure;
-
appropriately protecting their own copy of the planner and the information stored in it;
-
creating any necessary backup copies;
-
ensuring the proper functioning of their device, browser, and internet connection.
The Service Provider does not have access to financial information entered into the Customer’s private Google Sheets copy.
14. Liability
The Service Provider does not guarantee any specific level of savings, financial outcome, or lifestyle change.
The Service Provider is not liable for losses resulting from information entered incorrectly by the Customer, unauthorised modification of formulas, improper use, loss of access to the Customer’s Google account, or a temporary interruption of a third-party service, except where such exclusion of liability is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability of the Service Provider that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Complaints
The Customer may submit a complaint concerning the purchase, performance of the contract, or the digital product using the following contact details:

The Service Provider will investigate a written complaint after receiving it and provide a substantive written response within no more than 30 days.
If a complaint is rejected, the Service Provider will inform the consumer of the competent authority or conciliation board procedure available to them.
16. Conciliation Board Proceedings
Consumers may initiate proceedings before the conciliation board competent for their place of residence or stay.

The Service Provider cooperates in conciliation board proceedings.
In consumer protection matters, consumers may also contact the consumer protection authority of the government office competent for their place of residence.
17. Data Processing
The processing of the Customer’s personal data is governed by the current Privacy Policy of the online store.
By placing an order, the Customer confirms that they have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
18. Amendments to the Terms
The Service Provider may amend these Terms with effect for the future, particularly in the event of legislative changes, changes to the service, or technical developments.
Any amendment will not affect rights already acquired by Customers under contracts concluded before the amendment.
The current version of these Terms is continuously available in the online store.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law.
For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection granted by mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which they reside.
The parties will endeavour to settle any dispute amicably. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be decided by the court having jurisdiction and competence under applicable law.
